The repair files can be read and written using any programmer that supports the 95256 EEPROM, including devices such as VVDI Prog, VVDI Multiprog and CGPro. In some cases, reading the internal processor will also be required.
After writing the provided repair file to the BMS, charge the battery to its maximum capacity before reinstalling the BMS back into the battery pack. Failure to do so will cause the BMS to lock again.
 
To verify if the BMS has been successfully unlocked and is functioning properly, you need to test it using the vehicle itself. When the battery is in an inactive state, measuring the voltage at the external terminals (controlled by the BMS) with a multimeter will always show a reading of 0V. Once the battery is activated, the BMS will click once, and the external terminals will display a normal voltage reading—this applies whether the battery is tested inside or outside the car.
