After writing the provided repair file to the BMS, charge the battery to its maximum capacity before reinstalling the BMS back into the battery pack. Failure to do so will cause the BMS to lock again.
 
To verify if the BMS has been successfully unlocked and is functioning properly, use a multimeter to check the voltage at the external terminals of the battery (controlled by the BMS) and confirm that it matches the voltage reading at the battery’s internal terminals. A successful repair will result in stable, normal voltage output.
