Critical Installation & Operation Notes
1. Vehicle Coding Requirement
The kit requires re-coding of the vehicle’s onboard system to recognize the AGM battery and disable lithium battery-related monitoring parameters. Failure to perform this coding will result in system errors.
2. OBD Dongle Operation Steps
- After replacing the lithium battery with the recommended 92Ah AGM battery, connect the included OBD dongle to the vehicle’s OBD port to automatically correct the battery configuration settings.
- Once the configuration is successfully updated, the OBD dongle can be safely removed.
3. Reversal Procedure Warning
The OBD dongle is designed exclusively for lithium-to-AGM conversion. To revert the vehicle back to a lithium battery setup, a professional diagnostic tool is required (the dongle cannot be used for this reverse operation).
4. Battery Capacity Mandate
Only a 92Ah AGM battery is supported by this kit. Using an AGM battery with a different capacity will lead to system compatibility issues
